You just raised a point which works in both ways:
If particles "always existed", why there couldn't be "something else"
that "always existed"

LL: The difference is that we have objective evidence that molecules
exist, we don't have it for god. You might as well be comparing
molecules to leprechauns.

I particularly find the god
hypothesis rather boring and far fetched enough to be categorized
with
other theories such as leprachaun magic and random implosion of
spaghetti sauce.

LL: I agree about the god hyothesis and the leprechaun magic, but I

A more interesting question is: why won't Christians pray for amputees
to be healed? They pray for the healing of all sorts of medical
conditions other than lost limbs, so why not pray for lost limbs to be
restored too?

Yes, that is what I meant. The reason for unlucky 13 being a myth, not
the Knights Templar in general. Although there are some things about
the Knights I've heard that sound a little "Dan Brown" to me. Things
I've heard on History Channel specials attempting to debunk Dan Brown,
actually.
