I hate seeing stuff like that in news papers, I'm always fearful that
they skipped over a better letter just to post that drivel instead of
writing back to the author a quick message like:

The theory of evolution does not posit that if you have faith "your
seeds will grow into different plants", then they will, your argument
is therefore fallacious and I will not be putting it into print to
save you from embarrassment.
