my friend has a new e-mail address..I have tried editing her old
one..get the message cna't haver two e-mail addresses with same
name..have tried deleting and then adding..get message..."data error"
even changed the name of the contact to her husband's with her e-mail
and get the same error. help please.

Add the address as Name2 or if they are not using the old address
delete it. To delete you may have to go into "Older Version".

Click on "Older version" top right. It is the previous interface
version of Gmail.
