Subject: undo invite
I invited someone to chat, and they never accepted.  Their name still
shows up in my column of people with the word "invited" next to it.  I
no longer wish them to be invited to chat with me.  How do I go about
withdrawing the invitation?  I am sure I can figure out how to make
their name go away, but I want also to prevent them from accepting my
invitation in the future.

I too have made the mistake of "inviting" someone, which turned out to
be a duplicate Contact, as I missed consolidating  ALL of their email
addresses into one Contact.  Even after I combined the stray email
address; a duplicate of this person's Contact remains in my Chat
List!  Deleting or Blocking is not an option, as I do not want to lose
the message history from the time when this person used that email
address.
I too ask; how do I make this second, unacknowledged invited contact
go away from my Contact list????  There must be away of editing the
invited list, as it seems to know that there was an invite to this
person!
