not being notified when somebody wants to chat with me unless I am on
my gmail page, My friend is notified no matter what page he is on so I
am wondering I am not. I am always signed in???? Any ideas on how to
fix???

Can I send an email to various contacts, but keep their addresses
private from each other? I want to send to an email to a group of
people, but I can't find a way to not showing their email addresses -
is this possible.

I realize that spam is an eternal problem. Is there any way in gmail,
to only have messages from my contact list show up in the regular mail
folder? I've been going crazy for two weeks trying to get spam and
other junk to only go to the spam/junk folders. Your help is greatly

I don't have an "invisible" button on chat

I can sign out of chat- which makes my button grey - effectively
invisible- but then I can't chat. Other people say they have a choice
of "invisible". I don't. Nor is my screen the "basic html." My
browser is explorer. Help!

Good morning,
I opened my gmail this morning and there was a person with a yahoo e-
mail address FILLING my chat list. All my friends' names were gone
and the entire list was filled with this one unknown person's name. I
tried to go down one by one, selecting "never show in chat," but that

I would like my OWN e-mail to auto complete

I send myself e-mails all the time - one of the realities of shifting
documents between four different computers for work. I would like to
have my own e-mail address auto complete when I start typing it (it
does this for all of my other contacts!) I've tried adding my name to
my contact list, but no dice. Is there some reason I can't do this?... more »

I invited someone to chat, and they never accepted. Their name still
shows up in my column of people with the word "invited" next to it. I
no longer wish them to be invited to chat with me. How do I go about
withdrawing the invitation? I am sure I can figure out how to make
their name go away, but I want also to prevent them from accepting my... more »

my friend has a new e-mail address..I have tried editing her old
one..get the message cna't haver two e-mail addresses with same
name..have tried deleting and then adding..get message..."data error"
even changed the name of the contact to her husband's with her e-mail
