I have installed Gmail for Windows Mobile by visiting the link Get
Faster Gmail for your Windows Mobile. After installing and attempting
to launch Gmail, When I attempt to sign-in to Gmail using JBlend, i
get an error "Gmail for mobile can't access the server until you grant
it permission to send and receive data over the network".

Any help would be much appreciated...?

Device model: HTC P3400
Mobile service provider: Airtel, India
Mobile OS and version: Windows Mobile, 6.0
Mobile Browser: Internet Explorer
Country: India
Issue Summary:
Expected result - Should be able to sign into Gmail

Actual result - "Gmail for mobile can't access the server until you
grant
it permission to send and receive data over the network".

Steps to reproduce -
1. Visit http://google.com/mail in Internet Explorer
2. Click on Get faster Gmail Link
3. Click on Download Gmail link (version v1.5.0.1193)
4. After Gmail is downloaded, launch it
5. Provide the username and password and click on Sign-In

The same with me. Just bought HTC Tytn II and I am getting the same
error message. I am on Airtel.
