Message from discussion labels vs. folders....

To have two separate groups of emails, plus the inbox:
- select the emails you want to put in group one
- open the "More actions" list and select "apply new label"
- type the name you'd like to give to this group (e.g. "group1")
- now, with the emails still selected, click on the "Archive" button,
this will "remove" the emails from the inbox
- repeat for the second group

to view these messages:
click on the name of the groups in the green labels box on the left

to make grouping automatic, create filters
