Subject: Can someone please help me make sense of Gmail IMAP on Mac?
I want to switch to Gmail from MobileMe (blech!), but I'm so utterly
confused by the Gmail setup within Apple Mail.  I've also been looking
at using GyazMail, but can't quite get it working right either.

Apple Mail has a Sent folder, Drafts folder, etc.  Gmail seems to
duplicate all of this.  I read the help files and followed the
instructions regarding Sent mail, the Drafts folder, etc.  But it
doesn't seem to be working.  One minute the Apple Mail Sent folder
disappears, then I send a message and it reappears. Sent messages go
into the wrong folder, etc.  Drafts is pretty much the same way.  Sent
message are marked as unread, etc.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, or maybe Gmail just isn't the right
choice for me?  If anyone can help explain this confusing mess to me,
I'd appreciate it!  And, if not, perhaps someone can recommend another
IMAP-based mail service.  I don't care if I have to pay.  I just want
it to be simple (ie: MobileMe) and work reliably (ie: not MobileMe).

Thanks!

-Rob
