Subject: Downloading e-mails on two computers using gmail
After reading a hundred posts and being unable to find out how to
download e-mails on two computers I finally figured it out. The
process is actually so simple that I was surprised I did not know
before.

If you have been trying to do this for a while you probably have
probably heard the "recent" and IMAP ways to solve this problem.

This is a step by step instructions to download e-mails on ywo
computers:

1. If you are making a new e-mail account choose "imap.gmail.com" as
your incoming server. You should then be able to download meassages on
tow computers without any trouble.

2. If you cant't choose IMAP or you need to change an existing account
then:

a. Open the properties of your e-mail account

b. Go to servers tab or section.

c. Change your E-mail username to "recent:Username". Make sure you do
not change the e-mail adress in the "general section of the
properties" because that will not do anything. Also make sure you
change this on both computers. The first time you do this, you will
get all the e-mails of the past 30 days. After that though you should
be able to download all new e-mails on both computers.
