this post) lists an eight-step procedure:
Log in to the your BlackBerry Internet Service provider account. (t-
mobile,at&t,Verizon, alltell,sprint or Rogers)
Click filters beside the integrated Gmail account.
Click add filter.
Name the filter.
Click the drop-down menu beside apply filter when: and select the from
field.
In the contains field, type the Gmail email account.
Select do not forward messages to handheld.
Click add filter.
