In the last two days I have been getting emails from my gmail account
that I use for friends (ex. [email address]) in my work gmail
account (ex. [email address]).  This is very disconcerting.
Anyone know what's going on?

Check the forwarding and filters on the friend account.
Check the "Get mail from" section in Accounts settings in the work
account.
