I have exactly the same problem, trying to verify to a yahoo.co.uk
address - which most certainly does already exist and is much used.
In case the yahoo spam filtering was a problem I turned it off, but
still no joy.
I tested the verification facility by adding a spare email address, a
*non* yahoo address. The verification mail was received ok within 20
seconds, no problem obviously.
I do not know if the lack of verification send is at the google end -
although it displays a message stating an email 'has been sent', or if
it is at the yahoo end.
Any thoughts anyone please?
