Publicising my mapplet

I wish to send the following link (see below) to all my friends and
I'm finding that our text, logo and HTML in the left side bar is being
"clipped" and placed into a scrollable frame. The problem is that
it's not obvious that there is more HTML below and you need to scroll.

Is there a way to expand the size of the box that the sidebar HTML

It works for me.
Check your CSS to see if you're displaying white text on a white
background.
If still stuck, post a link to a page that exhibits the problem.

javascript arrays can be thought of as associative arrays. You can
do:
gmarkers["Hotel Del"]

yeah you are right, I wasn't testing with Google Earth, just whether
google maps site would display it.

anyway I had another look, and here's the results

1. server test

upload st26.kml and st26.kmz to another server.

st26.kml displays in google maps
st26.kmz does not display in google maps

I am not a programmer, so most of this stuff that is a over my head.

Thank you so much for that Larry. I found an example in Mike's tutorial
that used GEvent.trigger for a sidebar thar worked great.
Now the last thing I need to do is this: The javascript is called
myclick(i), where (i) counts up from 0 to the number of markers-1. I want
the function to be: myclick(hotelname), where hotelname is one of the

OK, this set of code sure looks better and now I can understand what
the var point code should be, but my map isn't coming up just now.
I've got it available as [link]
now with the changes. I've removed all of the icon colored markers
and the info windows except the one you coded so that nothing in them

If the infowindow opens, then the function is working. If your string
'Hello' is not appearing it is likely not being recognized as a
string. This would likely have something to do with the placement of
that line of code.

Do you have script error reporting turned on for your browser and are
you getting a javaScript error when you load the map

There's a file in the "files" section of this forum that contains this
information. You'd have to construct your own database with this info
and do the relevant queries, but the information is there and is
relatively current.

ummmm most of my kmz arent even named the same inside as out
Google Earth didnt like the kml at all till I made the change that I
mentioned.

I have a *.TAB file made by using a *.bmp file. It's a map and during
the conversion I have given three coordinates. I can't use this *.TAB
with SQL select. Also it doesn't show me under TAB files to be chosen
for SQL select.

I will be really greatfull if any one could help me with this.
I guess if i can give the properties of a polygon to this *.TAB file,

did you name the kml... doc.kml?
