  I wish to send the following link (see below) to all my friends and &lt;br&gt; I&#39;m finding that our text, logo and HTML in the left side bar is being &lt;br&gt; &amp;quot;clipped&amp;quot; and placed into a scrollable frame.   yeah you are right, I wasn&#39;t testing with Google Earth, just whether &lt;br&gt; google maps site would display it. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;anyway I had another look, and here&#39;s the results &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;1. server test &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;upload st26.kml and st26.kmz to another server. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;st26.kml displays in google maps &lt;br&gt; st26.kmz does not display in google maps

  If the infowindow opens, then the function is working. If your string &lt;br&gt; &#39;Hello&#39; is not appearing it is likely not being recognized as a &lt;br&gt; string. This would likely have something to do with the placement of &lt;br&gt; that line of code. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Do you have script error reporting turned on for your browser and are &lt;br&gt; you getting a javaScript error when you load the map
