What performs best for polygonal overlays?

Given a map, having to display a large amount of polygons (e.g. zip
areas, district borders) with varying zooms and GPolygon already
considered to not perform good enough: What would be your preferred way
to achieve this?
Encoded Polylines? Tile Layer Overlays? Layers? Custom Overlays? Polygonzo?

GClientGeocoder error

My client is continually getting this error that GClientGeocoder is
null, undefined or not an object. I am wondering if they have reached
the geocode request limit and are blocked. I think they may use a
proxy server.

How can I test for this? I have GEvent.addListener(geocoder, "error",

Hello!

I am tiddling with some new code I found and I cannot get any of the
clusterer tutorials to work on my map.

I've used Jef Poskanzer's and also have tried Martin Pearman's to no
avail. These are both wonderful tools, but I am at a loss to try and
get them to work with this type of map code.

I have heard from one of my teachers in university that it is now
possible to use the API without the key you had to aquire from
Google. Is it true? I can't seem to find any answer on the
internet...

Hello. We are trying to implement a search query using drop downs with

Hello,

I am tiddling with some new code that I've found, and am having
trouble adding in the cluster marker on the map. I'm assuming it's
how the info windows are laid out in the code, but no matter what
variations I use, I can't get the clusterer to work. I've tried
several different ones, to no avail.

Map Area Does Not Render Properly

Hello, I am using google maps (not the first time but) and it's the
first time that the map

area is not rendered (is not displayed) in the DIV element.

The only visible portion of the map is a small box 100 x 100 in
dimensions. The map should be 900 x 300 px and yet only the small box
i mentioned is displayed with the rest of the area being gray.

getting an error in the Firebug console inside the main.js file for
