Subject: Header issues
My blog is <a href="http://www.gblog.co.nr"> gblog.co.nr</a>. As you
can see i have the green tic tac template. I want to to completely get
rid of the header so i can have my picture in it's place. I have
photoshop so there's no problem designing an image for whatever exact
size it needs to be. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Subject: Re: Header issues
I have the exact same question. I started with the same template
mangangreg is using and my custom picture was shifted to the right. I
switched the template and the picture is now in place, but no matter
how I change it, it doesn't seem to fit exactly right. How do I figure
out what the picture size needs to be.

mangangreg: to replace the header, follow these steps:

* Click the Customize link
* On the Layout tab, click the Page Elements sub tab.
* Click the Edit link in the Header section.
* Browse for the picture you want in your header
* Click the "Instead of title and description" checkbox (this is what
gets rid of your default header)

Like I said, this doesn't work perfectly for me. My picture is not the
right size. It is way wider and shorter than the default header size.

Thank you.

The current header image is 847px wide × 240px high and is wider than
the post/sidebar columns.

It's the background for 'id=header-wrapper', and as a background, only
what is required by the element content shows.

The image is:

and if you view it you'll see that it includes some transparent areas,
some shadow and the thin line at the top.

The two-green band at the bottom is:

You may also need to look a the post and sidebar columns background
image, to get the new image lined up right.

On a different subject, looking at the blog, I see the sidebar is
empty. The top of the sidebar is another image and it is cut off. If
you add an element, even an empty Html/Javascript element the waves
will fill out. You may need to put an non-breaking space (&nbsp;) in
the element's content box so it will save.
