i found a way around it. if you try to log in, you get the error
screen, but it actually recognizes that you're logged in. then go to your website - insertblognamehere.blogspot.com and you should see your email address in the top right corner - beside that there's a link that says "new post" and voila, you should be able to post. You must Sign in before you can post messages.
To post a message you must first join this group.
