Jamacian Dry Rub Recipe
Hi, I'm looking for a recipe from cook's Illustrated/America's Test Kitchen for a Jamaican or Carribean dry Rub used on BBQ pork or whatever. Anyone got this and able to post it for me? Thanks! Piedmont

Anybody know anything about St benard torte?
I'm going out for dinner this evening. And would like to bring dessert. And have the name of a well recommended bakery, which bakes from scratch. Castor Sugar
The recipe for potato doughnuts recently put on this board called for a cup of castor sugar. I don't have castor sugar. Can I use powder sugar or regular sugar instead? Is there any adjustment to the recipe needed? Thanks in advance. Frank

Stop the Buffalo Slaughters
An amazing true story of events that began as a phenomenon were soon discovered as a message to all mankind. The message comes at a time of upheaval in our world. A time in 2005 where history, science and religion converge at one event. A system of repetitious parallels occur, linking the nineteenth... more »

Croissants Part Deux
We made croissants again yesterday. This time we remembered the salt, and I think that did make a positive difference in the taste. This time we used the cuisinart to mix the dough instead of hand kneading. We think it's the wrong tool for the job. The biggest problem was the heat. With the motor so close to the mixing bowl, the... more »
