Swimming in Rawal Dam, seasonal nullahs of Islamabad prohibited
Islamabad administration has imposed section 144 to prohibit swimming in Rawal Dam.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – According to a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, administration has imposed section 144 CrPC to prohibit swimming in Rawal Dam, Korang Nullah and other seasonal nullahs of Islamabad.
The decision was taken after two people were drowned in Rawal Dam while swimming. Deputy Commissioner said that police will take action against those who found violating the swimming ban.
Deputy Commissioner further said that swimming in Rawal Dam, Korang Nullah and other seasonal nullahs of Islamabad has been prohibited to save precious lives.
