Kajol is one of the most successful actors in Bollywood, running strong for more than two decades and has given blockbuster hits in the past years. However, the actress has always been seen in jolly and serious roles but has rarely been captured in lusty characters in her films.
Interestingly, the actress will be seen portraying such a role for the first time in Amit R. Sharma's segment in 'Lust Stories 2' released on Netflix on June 29. 'Lust Stories 2' is an Indian anthology film and is a sequel to the 2018 anthology film of the same name.

Recently in an interview, Kajol recalled awkwardly shooting with Saif Ali Khan for 'Hothon Pe Bas Tera Naam Hai' song from Naresh Malhotra's 'Yeh Dillagi' film released in 1994. Saif Ali Khan and her laugh got her into trouble as choreographer Saroj Khan had to scold both the actors.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the actor spoke about emoting lust on the silver screen where she said, "There are two things I don't have — sexy and sharam. When someone tells me, "Sharmana hai", I ask them, 'Ye kya hota hai". When they show me and I say, "Achha, aankh neechi karni hai. Done!"

She further said, "I don't have the emotion but if you give me certain features to move in a certain way, utna samajh mein aata hai. You have to see how much Saroj ji wanted to slap us. Saif aur main hase hi ja rahe the. Saroj ji was like, 'Tum log bahut badtameez bache ho'. I've done it to the best of my ability, but then I have to depend on other people — sambhal lena edit mein, close-up le lo."
Kajol also quoted lines from Julia Roberts where she explained how a kissing scene with George Clooney took a technical turn that the joy and feeling of lust evaporated soon. Kajol also defined lust, as she said, "I think lust defines a very intense need for something. It could be food. Lust is, I feel, one of the most individual things. Everyone's idea of lust and how they respond to it is completely different. It's a subjective emotion, more than objective."
Talking about 'Lust Stories 2', the film is a four-part anthology film series and is the sequel to Netflix's 'Lust Stories' released in 2018. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua.
'Lust Stories 2' features Kumud Mishra, Kajol, Neena Gupta, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, and Tillotama Shome in pivotal roles. The directors in the second season are R Balki, Sujoy Ghosh, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Amit R. Sharma respectively.
