Reema Khan, who has long been away from acting, thanks to her marriage that took her famously to the US, is in town and kicking some real stardust.
She has been making glamorous appearances at different events and TV shows. Rumour has had it that Lollywood’s former numero uno will be returning to showbiz soon. While some thought it would be with a feature film, we learn that Khan’s comeback project is a TV serial, titled Gham e Zindagi Tera Shukria.
Produced by Bol TV, and directed by Mohsin Mirza, the serial is said to be a social drama. What is, perhaps, the most interesting fact about the play is that Khan is working with Babar Ali after a gap of about 15 years.
For the uninitiated, Ali was a popular Lollywood actor, back in the 1990s, who gave some of the biggest hits of his career with films in which he was cast opposite Khan. The two were also said to be dating.
Gham e Zindagi… also stars Sohail Sameer and Tipu Sharif.
