Resident Evil 4, released in Japan as Biohazard 4, is a survival horror third-person shooter video game developed by Capcom Production Studio 4 and published by Japanese company Capcom.

The story takes place six years after the events of Resident Evil 2. It features Agent Leon S. Kennedy, sent to Spain by the US government to rescue the daughter of the President of the United States, kidnapped and held hostage by a mysterious sect.
