The latest sensation who has gripped the hearts and minds of viewer’s is none other than Vidya Balan. She has become the female Shah Rukh of Bollywood. Riding high on her success post 'The Dirty Picture', she redefined hotness in a completely new way. She made way for the buxom curvy beauties when the whole world was busy trying to achieve size zero. She made even that paunch look sexy and desirable with her fabulous acting and ‘I don’t give a damn’ attitude. It takes a lot of talent and guts to go out there and do what she did (and did well). All we can say is, hats off!
2. Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat has been the one to defy norms. When kissing was a taboo in bollywood, she went ahead and did it anyway with the serial kisser, Emraan Hashmi. Many swooned over her sensuous act in her debut movie 'Murder'. No wonder she started getting counted as one of the hottest actresses post that. Well, only if she would have followed up that awesome act with a couple of good movies, she would’ve been a force to reckon with.

Who doesn’t know and love this “Barbie” of Bollywood? She has been constantly on top of her game since the time she entered the film industry. Though she made a disastrous debut with 'Boom', she didn’t go unnoticed by Salman Khan and was perfectly groomed by him after which, she went on to deliver hits after hits. She has consistently been on the top of various polls of sexy actresses. In her own words, it’s the attitude and confidence of a person that determines whether he/she is sexy or not. Well going by that analogy, she sure has plenty of it.

Anybody who thinks about Dimple cannot do so without thinking about 'Bobby' too. She made her debut with this teenage romance. The movie went on to become a craze with people given the novel subject (teenage romance, rich-poor drama) and the mini-skirts sported by the leading lady. During the times of salwar kameez & sarees she made skirts fashionable and became a fashion idol for many a young girls of the time.

If you quiz any guy from the 70s & 80s who the sexiest actress was, the only answer you got would’ve been the name ‘Rekha’.
