Blooms mid-summer to early fall first season. Use the blossoms to make Hollyhock Ladies. The plant is suitable for U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 3 to 10. Short lived perennial that readily self sows

Planting Directions:  Sow seeds 6-8 weeks before planting out. Sow seed on top of sterile seed starting mix and keep soil temperature at 60˚ to 70˚. In warmer climates plant outdoors 1-2 weeks before last frost. Germination takes 10-14 days with light and 60°-70°. Transplant or thin to 18"-36” apart when plants are 4-6” tall.  Plants prefer a sunny location with  well-drained soil and plants will tolerate dry conditions.
