Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene are celebrating 22 years of togetherness today and to mark the special occasion, the actress shared a memorable video on social media. Packed with priceless memories of the past two decades, Madhuri’s clip started off with wedding photos to holidays with kids and several unforgettable memories.

While at the peak of her career, Madhuri decided to get married to Dr Shriram Nene, a surgeon based in California.
The couple had a secret wedding on October 17, 1999 and for years Madhuri stayed away from Bollywood. Madhuri and Shriram Nene have two kids - Arin and Ryan. Recently, Shriram Nene had shared a memorable throwback picture from their younger days in the US when they were taking scuba diving lessons. Taking to his Instagram handle, Shriram Nene posted a picture where the couple is seen dressed in scuba diving suits. He had captioned it, “He wrote, ‘Nothing beats learning to scuba dive in a hot parking lot in the middle of a Florida summer. No really, the Florida Aquifer is super clear and always 70 degrees. Within minutes, Madhuri ‘Jacques Cousteau’ Dixit was going down to 100 ft without fear. It formed the base of many more scuba adventures all of the world.”

Candidly speaking about their relationship, Shriram Nene had previously told ETimes, “Madhuri and I are both Maharashtrians and have similar middle-class upbringing. She might have changed gears and got into the film industry but it was only after completing her education, and she's very, very smart. So we make for a very good combination. What really impresses me is how well our kids have turned out. I give her the credit for it because she's very patient, and loving, as a mother. When we're in career mode, we're focused, disciplined people, who respect everyone, but we always prioritise family and friends.”
