Survey says “73% agree that ZEE TV is their Indian entertainment channel of choice”
A survey carried out by TRP in the UK has come out with favourable numbers for one of the longest-running Indian broadcasters, ZEE TV.
The channel, which has been available in the UK market since 1995, has been in the forefront despite economic and market challenges. Recently, ZEE TV launched its HD variant on Sky and Virgin Media.
In the survey carried out by TRP during September 2021 (09/09/2021-23/09/2021), 73% out of the 187 individuals sampled, said ZEE TV is their Indian entertainment channel of choice. The survey included Adults 16+ UK, Indian & Asian Non-Indian responses.
The same survey, also ranked ZEE TV at No.1, with 82% having heard of the channel. This was mainly down to the large amount of marketing the broadcaster has been doing on-ground, on radio and on social media. The survey included 302 respondents, Adults 16+ UK, Indian & Asian Non-Indian responses.
As well as ZEE TV, the popular network also broadcasts ZEE Cinema and news service, WION HD.
