ZEE TV UK broadcasts India elections coverage live

ZEE TV UK has commenced broadcasting live coverage of the India elections results day.

The channel has replaced regular programming with rolling news bulletin ‘Janadesh’ from sister channel, ZEE News. Its coverage started at 04:30 (UK) and will continue up until 11:30.

This is the first time ZEE TV UK has switched to live ZEE News coverage for India elections coverage. In India, ZEE TV was expected to air simulcast its election coverage from ZEE News but the ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB) has issued an advisory regarding such a move.
