SSC Tuatara
The SSC Tuatara recently broke a new record for that line of vehicles: a 295-mph top speed at the Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds. Starting prices are just over $2 million, which is a big step up in terms of cost from the McLaren Senna, but that extra $1 million goes into a hyper vehicle with a twin-turbocharged 5.9-liter V8 engine. With a car that goes from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, you’re getting your money’s worth if speed is the game’s name.
McLaren Speedtail
This beautiful hybrid comes with a top speed of 250 mph, making it McLaren’s fastest production car to date.
The McLaren Speedtail is indeed all about speed. You can hit 186 mph in 12.8 seconds. From 0 to 60 mph, it’s just a quick and thrilling 3-second wait. The Speedtail is also a very light ride, with a dry weight of 3152.61 lbs (1,430 kg). But all this fun will set you back the estimated McLaren Speedtail price of $2.8 to $3 million.
Enzo Ferrari
This classic Ferrari is not being made anymore, but it is a prize for whoever gets their hands on the 2002–2004 models! There were only 400 produced; this may well be one of the rarest cars in the world.

Rimac Nevera
The 2022 Rimac Nevera is another entry to the modern electric hypercar list. With a top speed of 258 mph, it’s undisputedly a leader in speed.
For about $2.4 million, this rocket takes you from 0 to 60 in under 2 seconds. It is a bit heavy at 4,740 lbs, but speed is not sacrificed with the torque and raw power the hypercar offers.
Aston Martin Valkyrie
The 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie hits a top speed of 250 mph. The make, in fact, briefly claimed the title of it being the single fastest street-legal car in the world. Now, it’s still a solid contender, going from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. This speed demon currently goes for over $3 million, with production being extremely limited.
Ferrari Laferrari
Another extremely limited Ferrari; only 499 of these road-going cars will ever exist.
Entering with a top speed of 218 mph, this exclusive ride remains one of the world’s fastest cars. It’s a light 3,495 lbs and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds.
Porsche 918 Spyder
The Porsche 918 Spyder can hit a top speed of 214 mph, going from 0 to 60 in just 2.2 seconds. While it was a mere $845,000 when it was new, you’re probably looking at well over $1 million today. Regardless, it’s still a powerful and beautiful car for its price range.
Hennessey Venom F5
This Texan beauty recently set a new personal record of 271.6 mph, with its makers constantly aiming to break the 300 mph barrier.
The Hennessey Venom F5 can get from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds. It goes from 0 to 124 mph in as little as 4.7 seconds. More impressively, the time to get from 0 to 250 mph is 15.5 seconds! The starting price for a new Hennessey Venom F5 is $2.1 million.
Aston Martin DBS
Lastly, while not as fast as many of our other entries, though faster than some, the 2022 Aston Martin DBS can hit 211 mph, breaking the 60-mph mark at 3.2 seconds from a standstill. In addition, the pretty, slim ride starts from just $536,900 for the 2022 model, making it the most affordable speedster on this list.
