Inside photos of Madhuri Dixit's new home in Worli, Mumbai, which she has rented for Rs 12.5 lakh/month

While it might sound like fresh fodder to most readers, Madhuri Dixit rented this apartment back in November 2021, according to MoneyControl. While she has been living at her apartment in Lokhandwala, Andheri for the longest time, since she returned to India from the US, Madhuri Dixit's new home is ready and seems to be the next permanent address for the actress and her family.

Madhuri Dixit’s apartment is spread across 5,500 sq ft on the 29th floor of the building Indiabulls Blu located in Worli. The price of an apartment in this area costs a whopping Rs 70,000 per sq ft. She has rented the space out for 36 months with a rent escalation clause of a 5% upward revision every year. She will be paying a monthly rental of Rs 12.50 lakh which brings the annual expenditure to Rs 1.5 crore, per Zapkey.com ( a portal that aggregates and organises publicly available property registration data). The rent for three years comes at Rs 4.73 crores. She's also made a security deposit of Rs 3 crore.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Apoorva Shroff, the interior designer, praised Madhuri and Shriram and said, “Honestly, I was surprised by how down to earth they were and how practical their requests were. The only constraint as such, was the timeline.”

Apoorva also revealed that the idea behind Madhuri's home decor was to keep it ‘simple, sober yet versatile’. She told Pinkvilla, “The brief was to give the new home of the star couple a quick makeover. The apartment located on 29th floor of a Worli high rise has a spectacular view of the city sparkling below at night and ample light filtering in from all directions during the day."
