Mexican beauty Barbara Mori made her debut in Bollywood opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kites (2010). However, soon after she vanished from the Indian screens. The actress has been involved in acting projects in Mexico and will soon be seen in an Apple TV+ series titlled Las Azules.

BARBARA MORI HEADLINES APPLE TV+ SERIES

Babara Mori was seen romancing Bollywood heartthrob Hrthik Roshan. The actress headlines the new Apple TV+ crime drama, Las Azules. It is set in 1970 Mexico with an all-Hispanic cast and crew. The 10-episode series is based on true stories of Mexico's first female police force.

Barbara Mori will be seen in Las Azules as Maria, a devoted wife who discovers her true calling when she joins the first female police force, and her entire belief system is shattered. The series is still in pre-production.

ABOUT LAS AZULES

According to the official statement, the story of Las Azules follows four women in the police force who discover their squad is a publicity stunt to distract the media from a brutal serial killer. Maria, whose determination to catch the killer becomes an obsession, while Gabina is an aspiring officer. Angeles is a brilliant fingerprint analyst. Meanwhile, Valentina, is a young rebel, set up a secret investigation to achieve what no other male officer has been able to do and bring the serial killer to justice.

The show is created by International Emmy Award-winning Fernando Rovzar and Pablo Aramendi. Wendy Riss, Erica Sanchez Su and Billy Rovzar are executive producers. Las Azules will debut on Apple TV+ alongside other Spanish-language shows like Now & Then and Acapulco.
