Coming in as great news for fans, Rani Mukerji’s upcoming highly anticipated film Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway, is all set to release in theatres on March 3, 2023. The film, directed by Ashima Chibber, is inspired by true events that show an incredible story of human resilience. Apart from the release date, the makers piqued the curiosity of the fans by dropping Rani's first look from the film.
MRS CHATTERJEE VS NORWAY FIRST LOOK
Rani Mukerji, who treated fans with some of her stellar performances in the past in films like Kahaani, Bunty Aur Babli, and more, is all set to come forward with yet another film, Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway. Emmay Entertainment, the production house which is bankrolling the project, shared a still from the forthcoming film while giving a glimpse of Rani’s character.
In the still, the actress donning a pink saree can be seen holding a teddy bear with that intense look, which proves that the plotline of the film will be intriguing and captivating. While captioning the picture, the production house wrote, “Inspired by the true story of a mother who shook an entire nation with her courage and willpower to win back her children (sic).”
The film recounts the story of an immigrant Indian mother’s battle against the Norwegian foster care system and local legal machinery to win back the custody of her children.

Rani Mukerji was last seen on the big screen in Bunty Aur Babli 2, which hit the theatres in November 2022 where she was paired alongside Saif Ali Khan. Rani Mukerji completed 25 years in Bollywood this year She spoke to IndiaToday. In about the milestone. “For me, when you say 25 years, it makes me feel very old, which I don’t want to feel. The whole thought behind looking at my 25 years in the industry is the fact that I started at the very young age of 16 and right from my first film, I was surrounded by such lovely people. Be it, my directors, my technicians, my personal crew, I have been very lucky in a lot of ways. My biggest success has been getting a chance to play so many diverse characters all through my career,” she said.
Earlier, Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway was slated to hit the screens on May 20th, 2022. However, owing to the pending shooting schedule and other hiccups, the film’s release has been pushed ahead now.
