xXx Return of Xander Cage vs Baywatch: Deepika and Priyanka ready for Hollywood clash

Bollywood is going international and the two of its biggest actors are all set to make their Hollywood debuts in 2017. Deepika Padukone will be playing Serena Unger in xXx: Return of Xander Cage alongside Samuel L Jackson and action-star Vin Diesel. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra will be playing Victoria Leeds in the movie adaptation of hit TV series Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

Both the actors have seen amazing success in India, are all set to conquer the world. Deepika had to work really hard to prepare for the action sequences in xXx to match up to Vin Diesel's level of high-octane action. Priyanka Chopra on the other hand has said her character is a bi*ch in the film.

Both actors were last seen working together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani. The clash will be interesting because for the very first time, two Bollywood actors will make a fresh start in unchartered territory. While xXx is almost like a reboot for the franchise, with the makers coming out with a film after almost a decade, Baywatch is a standalone movie based on the TV show starring David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage will be releasing on January 19, 2017, while the Baywatch movie will release on May 17, 2017. Let the countdown begin...
