Visuals...Emotions...Story-telling in PR Visual comms, emotions, and storytelling play crucial roles in the public relations (PR) industry today. These are powerful tools for building ✅connections, ✅influencing perceptions, and ✅engaging audiences. Now what are the 3 main roles they play ⏯️? 1️⃣Visual Communication: images, videos, infographics help capture attention🔊, convey messages quickly🏃, and make content more shareable on social media platforms. 🟪Visuals can enhance storytelling by providing context, evoking emotions, and making complex information easier to understand. 2️⃣Emotions: By tapping into emotions like joy🤣😂, empathy, fear😱🫣, or excitement🤪😜, memorable experiences that resonates with the target audiences can be created. 🟪Emotional connections foster brand loyalty, drive engagement, and influence behavior. 3️⃣Storytelling: This remains a cornerstone of PR. Ekoroi's city life series continues... With an insatiable passion for #photography and #videography in cityscape where creativity intertwines with corporate dynamics, Ekoroi embarked on a dual journey of mastering the art of visuals while excelling in the field of marketing. Armed with a camera and a strategic mindset, he seamlessly blended the principles of marketing with the aesthetics of visual #storytelling. The first skill on his toolkit was the ability to capture the essence of a brand through the lens. Each photograph became a visual narrative, conveying not just objects but emotions and stories behind them. The camera became his branding tool. Translating messages into a visual language that resonated with the #audience. From vibrant shoots in #Kinale & #Kereita forests to behind-the-scenes glimpses, every frame was meticulously crafted to reinforce the conservation identity. Adaptability was another key skill in Ekoroi's arsenal. The world of marketing is dynamic, and trends evolve rapidly. Recognizing the power of staying ahead, Ekoroi embraced new technologies and trends in both marketing and visual content creation such as #chatbot, #augmentedreality (AR), #3D graphics and short form videos. From mastering the latest editing software like #adobepremierepro, #davinciresolve, #FinalCutProX (for macOs) and #HitFilmExpress to experimenting with innovative shooting techniques, staying at the forefront of industry trends is crucial for success. #Networking still plays a pivotal role in Ekoroi's journey. Building connections with fellow professionals in marketing and photography set doors open to collaborative projects and diverse opportunities for him, enriching both the marketing and visual storytelling aspects of Ekoroi's work. One standout quality was Ekoroi's ability to tell authentic stories. In a world bombarded with advertisements, authenticity became a precious commodity. Through genuine storytelling, Ekoroi's visuals resonated with #conservationists, forging a connection that transcended the screen. This authenticity became a hallmark of Ekoroi's art, setting it apart in the competitive landscape. As Ekoroi navigated the dual path of marketing and visual arts, the synergy between the two disciplines became evident. The strategic mindset acquired in marketing enhanced the storytelling ability in photography and videography, creating a #powerful blend that propelled Ekoroi's passion in the industry. Ekoroi's journey wasn't just about acing the field; it was a testament to the symbiotic relationship between marketing and visual communication. By seamlessly intertwining these skills, Ekoroi has witnessed professional growth in the competitive landscape. This should however, pave the way for other professionals who understood the profound impact of combining strategic marketing with the #artistry of photography and videography. Walter Tito

#tbt.... In 2018, during my internship at Kenya Wildlife Service KWS, I was tasked to draft a speech for the Ag. Head of Corporate Communications, during the launch of the Corruption Prevention Policy and Code of Conduct. Today, I got a snippet of what I jotted down 👇👇 If I was to be rated, where could you place me on a scale of 0 to 100%? "Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed members of the wildlife conservation fraternity, I stand before you today as the Acting Head of Corporate Communications at the Kenya Wildlife Service, and I am honored to address this distinguished gathering committed to safeguarding our precious natural heritage. In our collective pursuit of wildlife conservation, it is imperative that we not only protect our flora and fauna but also uphold the highest standards of conduct. Crime prevention within our ranks is not only a responsibility but a moral obligation. As guardians of biodiversity, we must remain vigilant against illegal activities that threaten the delicate balance of our ecosystems. It is our duty to report any signs of malfeasance promptly and work collaboratively to eliminate such threats. Moreover, let us be beacons of ethical behavior, exemplifying a code of conduct that reflects the integrity of our cause. Respect for wildlife, local communities, and each other forms the foundation of our mission. Through unwavering commitment to these principles, we not only fulfill our duty to nature but also inspire others to join our noble endeavor. In the face of escalating environmental challenges, unity and ethical conduct are our most potent weapons. Together, let us fortify the walls that shield our wildlife, demonstrating to the world that the conservation fraternity stands resolute against crime and unwavering in its commitment to preserving the invaluable treasures bestowed upon us by nature. Thank you for your dedication, and let us march forward, hand in hand, towards a future where our wildlife thrives, unmarred by the shadows of unlawful deeds"

The Fragrance of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club..... Ekoroi meets Victor Mugubi Wanyama.... Just after assimilating with the bustles of Nairobi city, Ekoroi landed at the famous Mombasa Road 🛣️'s Sameer business park. What was the deal here? Ekoroi's first ever job in Nairobi... 'Kanairo ishaanza kutii' The chronicles of connecting two major highways was an obvious nightmare for him. He could wake up at 5 am, from his shared bedsitter in Kahawa Wendani, to beat the crazy traffic 🚦 along Thika superhighway, get to town by 7pm, then head to Mombasa Road 🛣️. Having no choice, endurance was the only arsenal left... He routined this for about a month, undertaking rigorous training to become a #Customer #Service #Representative for Africa's leading entertainment platform and giant broadcasting network, MultiChoice Group This was his first job in Nairobi by the way! Fresh from different universities and colleges, Ekoroi's friends were equally fascinated by the dynamics of Nairobi city. Remember this was 2018, the year of World Cup. (Just to remind you that, he was behind France national team, simply because almost half of the squad was black like himself) Apparently, the reason for hiring for this Customer Service Representative was clear—to charm Kenyan customers with sweet words, persuading them to embrace DStv and GoTV for a front-row seat to the World Cup excitement 😜. For those who have done #Telesales, you comprehend this part of the 🌎. So, the training was fun-filled with humour, wits and stories from various parties. The trainer was called Ann...somebody...sikumbuki hio jina ingine. ...but one thing about this young, adult lady is, she's was exemplary peculiar and exceptionally beautiful ❤️!! _may your husband continue pouring these compliments for the rest of his life.... that is, if you are married. World Cup fever gripped the nation, Ekoroi's enthusiasm peaked when Victor Mugubi Wanyama, the defensive midfield maestro of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and Kenya's National Team Captain, emerged as the MultiChoice Brand Ambassador for the 2018 Cup. This marked the epicenter of Ekoroi's happiness. Having followed European football and especially the English Premier League, Ekoroi threw away his Manchester United ego and embraced the Wanyama moment. At about 2 pm on that fateful Friday, Ekoroi experienced one of its kind pomp.... The room venue where the official unveiling of the brand ambassador boasted elegance architecture with sweeping arches and cascading ivy. Inside the room, the senior management team from South Africa and the entire Africa paraded ready to receive Victor Wanyama fresh from Totte...! The elating welcome of Wanyama left Ekoroi wagging his mouth in utter disarray as he stood next to Victor Wanyama with nice fragrance..Montreal here I come now!!

"THE RESILIENCE ODYSSEY OF A VILLAGE BOY FROM AKITES HILLS TO NAIROBI" In the quiet hills of Akites, nestled in the heart of Teso South Constituency lived a curious village boy named Ekoroi. With dreams as vast as the landscape surrounding him, he embarked on a journey to the bustling city of Nairobi, after accomplishing his bachelor's degree in Communications and Media, eager to explore the opportunities that awaited. Upon arriving, Ekoroi found himself immersed in the fast-paced life of the city, where the rhythm of the streets contrasted sharply with the tranquility of his village. The people rushed, and the buildings soared into the sky, creating a maze of unfamiliarity that left him bewildered. At a glance, a city dweller, would conspicuously notice spot on that the village boy was dazed in a #hodgepodge of confusion. In his quest for a better life, Ekoroi faced a culture shock that tested his resilience. The city's hustle and bustle overwhelmed him, and the abrupt interactions with strangers left him feeling lost. However, he refused to be defeated, realizing that success required adaptation. With unwavering determination, Ekoroi enrolled in the most common course in Nairobi , Bachelor's degree in "Tarmacing", eager to bridge the gap between his rural roots and the urban world. Despite facing initial challenges, he embraced every opportunity to learn and grow, steadily gaining confidence in navigating the complexities of city life. One morning, he confidently boarded a Nicco Matatu from the most revered Githurai 45 (revered for it's crime related acts) to the CBD, straight to the Office of the Deputy President then, now President, in his pocket was only 40 shillings _yaani mbao ya kuenda na kurudi_ before bus fare shoots to 30bob by 4pm As time passed, Ekoroi's hard work and adaptability began to pay off. He secured an internship at the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) networked with professionals, and honed his communication skills. His unique background and genuine demeanor set him apart in the competitive field of Corporate Communications. Throughout the years now, Ekoroi has become a proficient figure in the PR industry, using his experiences to connect with diverse audiences. He never forgets his roots, incorporating the wisdom of his village upbringing into his professional ethos. His success continues to transform his own life but also gearing towards inspiring others to embrace change and pursue their dreams relentlessly. Ekoroi's journey from the hills of Akites- along the border of Kenya-Uganda to the thriving city of Nairobi showcased the power of resilience and determination. He not only overcame the rude awakening of culture shock but thrived in an environment that initially seemed daunting. Ekoroi's story has become a beacon of hope for those fellow village boys who are ready to dare to dream beyond the boundaries of their origins. Ekoroi is now set to relocate to the USA soon. 'It's never done until it's done '
