MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee was so angry with her new lady designer for giving her an ill-fitted ghaghra to wear on stage that she did not think twice before firing her. What is more, the actress vented her anger on the girl in front of a large gathering which included media personnel as well.
Reports say that Rani had to leave the stage midway through her performance many a times because she felt as if the skirt was slipping down her waist while she was dancing. The actress remained composed throughout her performance, but as soon as she got off the stage, she vented her anger out on the designer.
Rani Mukherjee normally gets her costumes done by either Sabyasachi Mukherjee or Neeta Lulla. This time, she tried another designer for her stage outfit, little expecting that such a blunder could occur.
The media noticed a teary – eyed designer leaving the venue of the Big Star Entertainment Awards in Mumbai. Rani Mukherjee however was not repentant about her chastising act in front of the media.
According to her, she was “humiliated” onstage and thus did the right thing in showing her designer the door!
