Fashion Month is here again, meaning every designer, model, editor, and assistant in the city is working overtime to showcase the future of fashion.
We've got you covered on all of the details.
What is Fashion Month?
This takes place twice a year: in February and September. For the next four weeks, both famous and emerging designers will debut their latest collections to the public. Each week is dedicated to a different city of designers. See the official dates below:
New York Fashion Week is September 8, 2023 - September 13, 2023
London Fashion Week is September 15, 2023 - September 19, 2023
Milan Fashion Week is September 19, 2023 - September 25, 2023
Paris Fashion Week is September 25, 2023 - October 3, 2023
What designers will be showing?
There will be many brands returning to the runways, such as Michael Kors, Area, Dion Lee, Prabal Gurung, KNWLES, Mowalola, Diesel, Roberto Cavalli, Givenchy, and Christian Dior. Not to mention, there are a few easter eggs in store this season! After debuting his first collection as Creative Director of Helmut Lang in NYC, Peter Do will show his namesake collection in Paris. Marni will be showing for the first time in Paris, and even Mugler is returning to the runways, fresh off of the H&M collaboration—so many fresh perspectives in store this season. Schedules are hyperlinked above.
Are the shows open to the public?
Fashion Week is not open to the public — it's more of an invite-only industry event. This means if you are a participating model, hairstylist, make-up artist, designer, photographer, editor, or assistant, you would be a part of fashion week. Additionally, celebrities and select influencers are also invited to the shows.
Where can I view the shows online?
Right here! We will be covering select backstage beauty, trend reports, and the latest happenings.
For a look at each show, look by look, you can trust Vogue Runway. The runway video itself is often posted on Vogue Runway (or YouTube) as well.
