Madhuri Dixit and Shriram Nene are one of the most loved and celebrate couples who make everyone go aww with their cute chemistry and mushy PDA posts. Shriram is a doctor and Madhuri, a Big Bollywood star as they tied the knot of love and togetherness on October 17, 1999 in a traditional ceremony in Southern California.

The duo later threw a lavish wedding reception in Mumbai, which was nothing less than a star-studded affair. Many popular faces from Bollywood attended the party. Not many know that despite it being a starry event Shriram was not able to recognise many of the popular stars.

Yes, you read that right. In an interview with Simi a few years after her wedding, Madhuri revealed that the only star his husband could be recognised was Amitabh Bachchan because she has seen a film of his when he was little.

Taking to Simi, Madhuri revealed, "Me and his mom, we kind of tried to show him one of my films and say 'look at this song.' And he is like, 'can't we do something else? Let's go out and do something.' He has never watched a lot of Bollywood films. It's a different sensibility, but he loved Devdas."

Further talking about Nene's cluelessness, she said, "I think the only star he recognised at my reception was Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He had seen his film when he was in school, and that was Amar Akbar Anthony (1977). So (he asid) 'Yes, I think I know that face.' I am like, 'yes, you know him because of that film."

On the work front

The actress was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video film Maja Maa, which will also feature Gajraj Rao, Barkha Singh, and Ritwik Bhowmik.
