Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have a special love story. The duo first met when they were just teenagers, and have been together for three decades now. One of the most admired couples in Bollywood today, Shah Rukh and Gauri continue to give fans relationship goals. What makes them such a topic of interest is the fact that despite their popularity, the two have always managed to keep their relationship private. At a recent event, however, Gauri Khan had a rare moment when she opened up about her relationship with Shah Rukh, sharing new insights on their equation.

During the launch of the book Gravittus Ratna in Pune, Khan was asked about what life really is like as the wife of a superstar. Her response: "Even if there are some negatives, I have to brush it aside and the reason is very simple. [Shah Rukh] helped me while I was launching Gauri Khan Designs, so, he is very important to me. Jokes apart, he has done a lot for our family."
The couple have three children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, and Gauri continued on to talk about Shah Rukh as a dad, saying, "He is a great father and husband. I have to say that there are only positives being his wife and I would not like to share anything negative."

During the event, the interior designer also spoke about how the importance of having her personal space has helped maintain a level of normalcy in her life. "I feel like I am leading a very normal life, where I am just another working woman, like anyone else. I pick and choose when I want to be in the spotlight, which is only connected to my work and when I need to use the media. I feel the media is important when you are showcasing your work as people need to know what you are doing. So, I enjoy that part as well."
