It’s a little predictable, sure, but charming and steamy with just the right amount of rom-com cheese.
Trust (2021)
Trust is touted as a “sexy and twisty” flick with a bunch of seriously hot leads at its center. The romantic drama follows gallery owner Brook—who is, ahem, very much married to her husband Owen—only as she and her husband find themselves attracted to other people. She’s into a handsome artist who just so happens to have a thing for married women; he’s into a stunning journalist he meets at the local bar. As temptation and jealousy builds, the couple’s trust (get it?) crumbles.

Elena Undone (2010)
Elena Undone tells the story of the wife of a small-town pastor—who adamantly preaches against same-sex relationships—and her sultry affair with another woman. The relationship, which is actually loosely based on director Nicole Conn’s IRL romance with filmmaker Marina Rice Bader, starts as a friendship but quickly blossoms into something much sexier.
Good Luck to You, Leo Grande (2022)

The Ugly Truth (2009)
Gerald Butler and Katherine Heigl have chemistry. The charming rom-com centers on a hopelessly single TV producer who’s paired up with a chauvinistic TV personality set on proving her current dating methods wrong. Lost Girls & Love Hotels (2020)
This erotic thriller, with Alexandra Daddario at its center, follows a troubled American English teacher in Tokyo who falls into an affair with a member of the Yakuza gangs. It’s deep and thought-provoking, but was also called the “Tokyo-themed 50 Shades of Grey” by fans, so do with that information what you will.
AWOL (2016)
This critically-acclaimed indie flick follows the intense and intimate relationship between a small town girl, Joey, and her love interest, Rayna. The pair first meet at an Army recruiting office, where Joey is in search of some sort of life purpose—but she meets Rayna instead, and a romance ensues.
Ammonite (2020)
Loosely inspired by British paleontologist Mary Anning, Ammonite—which stars Kate Winslet, BTW—is set in a coastal English town where Anning hunts for fossils. However, she finds new purpose when tasked with caring for the ailing wife of Roderick, with whom she ultimately falls in love.
Pretty Woman (1990)

The Photograph (2020)
The trailer alone would earn The Photograph a spot in the top 10 sexy movies on Hulu right now. This movie follows Michael and Mae as they learn about Mae’s late mother through her photographs. The two quickly become romantically involved and teach each other how to love despite previous experiences and precautions. Plus, the two main characters are played by LaKeith Stanfield and Issa Rae, which is pretty much the hottest couple that’s ever existed.
Support the Girls (2018)
This sports bar is known for its beautiful waitresses in skimpy clothing—with that comes creepy customers preying on young employees and a whole lot of drama. Regina Hall stars in Support the Girls as the hardworking manager who protects the staff and treats them like one giant family. This movie will show you strength and perseverance demonstrated by its gorgeous characters.
