Liam Payne fans are convinced new track Bedroom Floor is about secret moment Cheryl tried to dump him
LIAM Payne’s fans are convinced his new track Bedroom Floor is about the moment Cheryl tried to dump him.
The former One Direction singer, 24, previously revealed that the 34-year-old tried to end it with him and that he had written about it on his new album.
And his latest track appears to reference that moment, as he sings: "Baby, heard you been talking about me lately. Telling all your friends how much you hate me.
"We always on and off until you're on me. You want to break up just to fix it now.
"You said it was over. But your clothes say different on my bedroom floor."
It’s also no secret that the mum-of-one is a big fan of the track because when Liam tweeted asking if any of his fans were ready for it, Cheryl was the first to reply, writing “me!”.
Liam confirmed it was her favourite track during an interview with Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1.
He said: "We both like that song and it's been her favourite from the start."
Earlier this year Liam, who became a dad for the first time in March of this year, opened up about Cheryl trying to dump him.
He told The Sun: “There’s one song that is basically phone call that happened between me and her when she was about to let it go.
“This is a long time ago. And it’s basically me trying to cling on and say: “No, no, no it’s all going to work out, don’t worry about it, give it time.””
It’s no surprise that following the track’s release, Liam’s fans have been debating if Bedroom Floor is in fact the song about Cheryl, with one even writing: “Bedroom Floor could easily be Cheryl's song.”
