Actual review: For a cosplay I was making, instead of struggling with pulling up socks all day, I used this power mesh in ‘****’ to make tights with fake “socks” sewn to them! Since the ‘****’ colour was so close to my skin tone - it gave the illusion I wanted. I am *very pale* and the ‘****’ worked pretty well for me, so just keep that in mind if you’re looking for a colour that matches your own skin tone. This material was super easy to work with (if you’ve worked with stretch mesh before) and held up really well to multiple long day wears. Would highly recommend!

I bought this a while ago and I didn't have the time to make a review until now. I bought the color champagne because I read reviews about it being a tan color and dark. I had to double check what I ordered and it is champagne. I am a foundation shade C23-C25 for the Asian standard (hard to find any cool toned tan colors anywhere). I will try to order the Khaki color next time and maybe that will be dark enough. I bought some RIT dye in the color wine which is a purplish red so hopefully that will be good enough to make this match my skin tone. Buy swatches because the colors will be very different in person!

This mesh is very soft and has lots of stretch, but is less sturdy than the power mesh I have previously bought from other companies. I only had compression power mesh to compare it to when I originally ordered but I have since ordered more standard power mesh from another manufacturer and am finding it a lot better for my use case. I use the mesh as a sort of tights/legging base to sew boot covers and socks I want to prevent slipping down to, and this mesh ripped along the inside of the seam the first time I tried them on. This would be a really good product places that take less stress, like linings and backing cutouts in garments.

If I would have received this item. I would have gladly left a positive review because I am always satisfied with the items I order from FWD when I do receive them. But this mesh order was cancelled and refunded, I’m assuming because of insufficient inventory. Not sure why I was asked to leave a review on an item I really needed but didn’t get, this is kinda like rubbing salt into an open wound. But maybe this isn’t some petty joke & this was just sent from an automated system or something. But anyways, If I were rating from previous purchases the pink mesh deserves 5 stars for sure. But rating from this transaction, solely based on not having the item & it being continuously out of stock for weeks, I cannot be as doting with my rating. I want to repeat, the power mesh fabric is superb, I have no complaints about the quality of product at all. This low rating was solely based on me being asked to review an item, I paid for & really needed, that ended up being canceled and refunded. I also want to ad that customer service is great, I was refunded for the out of stock item & also shipping, so the product and customer service is excellent. Only con is the power mesh colors I need are out of stock and have been for weeks & weeks. Please restock Pink, Lavender, Violet, and Royal blue Power Mesh.

*And Neon Fuchsia Shiny MIlliskin Tricot has been out of stock for MONTHS as well, another gorgeous and popular color fabric I’ve been waiting forever on to come back into stock with no avail so far.
