This mermaid has an exquisite design that truly captivates the eye. However, the construction is flimsy and challenging to handle. Just ten minutes after assembly, she began to fall apart, with her breastplate detaching first, followed by her delicate fin bones. Despite being placed in a secure position, she still ended up in pieces. I doubt I can use her again next year, which is a shame considering her beauty.

I purchased one for my outdoor display in 2019. It has been used every year for at least a month most years. My yard is on the second street from the shores of Lake Erie, so winds and rains in September and October can be intense and temperatures range from freezing to tropical. This year, I purchased a second mermaid skeleton, for an additional display and was happy to see that it appears to be of the same quality. I affix it into position using cable ties and garden stakes.

It’s indeed life size, but very poorly made. The parts are hollow and clipped together by small plastic studs. When I opened the package the entire rib cage was separated and I still can’t quite get it clipped correctly despite a good amount of time trying to. And the head doesn’t turn? I feel like it should for $100

I’d bought one of these last year and was pretty pleased so decided to get another one this year but was extremely disappointed. The entire rib cage is separated and even when I snap it back together it pops right back apart. The plastic seems way thinner than my other one. The mouth will not stay closed and is perpetually open. Overall the quality is pretty bad.
