February 6, 2024There are so many things to like about this water bottle: excellent portability, essentially spill proof (even for me!), keeps my ice water cold for hours, and it can go in the dishwasher (I won’t buy a water bottle that can’t go in there.
The only downside is washing the cap. I knew I would need to handwash the straw as I do all of my reusable steel straws, but taking the cap apart to wash it decently is a “thing” for this neurospicy woman. I have to remember to pull out the red rubber thingy before I even start or I can’t get it out, then I have to scrub it with my dish brush, my straw brush, and this other funky little brush that fits in that tight space that screws onto the bottle itself. It may not seem like a “thing” for neurotypical folks, but that’s a lot of steps and nooks and crannies for some of us divergent folks. I think I have a good routine now, so it’s definitely in the rotation with my beloved Yetis.

May 14, 2024I HAD to have this when I saw the limited Sugar Crush design! I absolutely love it! I was completely sold when I saw the cream colored straw lid! The straw lid is easy to flip open with one hand and drink from! The bright, cheerful swirls of color are perfection! My granddaughters saw mine and each had to have one! The 32 oz is my favorite size water bottle, and the wide mouth is easiest for adding ice and water. To top it all off, there are NO LEAKS! The 32 oz even happens to fit in my car’s drink holder, although it doesn’t go all the way to the bottom—but it still stays secure. I became a fan of Hydro Flask, because of the lack of lead in their products, and now I’m OBSESSED!
[Rewarded Review] Still a Hydroflask Loyalist

November 5, 2024I traded in several Hydroflask products that I'd had for a number of years, but either didn't use or were damaged in such a way that they were no longer functional. I love that the company offers this option, as I didn't want to just throw them away, and I'm glad to know Hydro is taking responsibility for the whole life cycle of their products. I'd gone over to the St*nley dark side (I still love it for long car trips), but I've always been a Hydroflask loyalist at heart. I really like the updates they've made to the Flex Straw lid, so it can be more thoroughly cleaned. I also love that the whole thing is dishwasher safe. I got this in the same color as the one that got me all the way from senior year of high school (2018) until my first year of teaching (2023), and I love this one just as much as I loved the other!

April 3, 2024Sent in my old Hydro Flask for a replacement one. Received the same color and size, but the latest version with the Flex Straw Cap. I think the caps are better than previous versions, but the straw tends to be looser and tends to pop out more. Overall, still love the Hydro Flask brand. My last one lasted 6-7 years and went through lots of drops and dents, as it lost its ability to maintain the ice cold drinks cold for long periods of time. I have the same one in multiple colors now, but very happy that Hydro Flask fulfilled my trade in.
