Red Bull X2010

Ever wonder how some F1 drivers relax away from the track? Sebastian Vettel likes his Playstation "Gran Turismo 5" video game and recently carried out some virtual test drives of the Red Bull X2010 car on the Nurburgring GP course. He came up with the fastest ever lap time of 1 minute and 4 seconds, which is much quicker than the official real lap record of 6 minutes 11 seconds set by a Porsche 956. No doubt the X2010's top speed of 450kph helped! It also uses Fan Forced technology for fantastic road holding, and a twin turbo V6 engine of 1,480hp.

AutoArt has released a 1:18 scale 3D diecast model of the 2D prototype. I think it looks sensational.

That would last about 30 seconds on Victorian Roads before it grounded out on a poorly patched repair or dropped a wheel into a pothole & cracked a carbon fibre suspension strut.

Looks good though - sorta like something out of an anime.
