I had a spill and scraped up my knees pretty badly. It was hard to figure out what kind of bandage to put on them and then I came across these. I was skeptical but I knew how hydrocolloid work and needed something on the larger size to cover the entire wound. I was able to get them delivered same day and it took a bit of trial and error to remove the bandage from the backing and then figure out the best placement, but it worked.
I only used it on my left knee, and used the typical fabric bandage on my right, and a few hours later, the hydrocolloid gel was working as it started to puff up, but I noticed I felt a burning sensation with my right knee (like a fresh tattoo burns) that I didn't feel with my left. I replaced the bandage on it with a hydrocolloid one too and the burning feeling went away in an hour.
I did have to change out the bandage on my left knee as there was seepage since the exudate was spreading to the edge of the bandage. It was tricky removing it, and you have to be especially careful not to tug/pull or you can disturb the wound and its healing as it is sticky. But it's worth it for what it does by keeping the wound protected and the best part is that it is completely waterproof! I've been able to keep the same bandages on for 4 straight days so far, and it can be kept on for up to 7 days, but I feel I should change them out.

Doesn't come off like it should.
This did help heal a bad scrape but refused to come off my son. It left a big red mark despite my meticulous use of medical adhesive remover (because it was literally fused to his skin). We use hydrocolloid often, but will never use this brand again. Had I not had the adhesive remover, we would have ended up at urgent care for help with removal.
